Using Flipboard
- Flipboard User Guide from the Flipboard website
- Blog post from Cool Cat Teacher on 15 Fantastic Ways to Use Flipboard
- TO COPY RSS FEEDS ON AN IPAD:
- Do NOT click on the RSS feed.
- Put your finger on the RSS feed and hold it there until a menu appears.
- In the menu, click on the Copy button.
- Then paste that link into the Flipboard search.

- Set up RSS feeds for fellow MILI bloggers, too.
- Go to someone's My Page in the Ning.
- Then click on Blogs.
- At the bottom of their blogs you'll see the small RSS feed.

ASSIGNMENTS FOR OCTOBER
1) Add at least 10 things to your Flipboard account.
2) Write two blog posts.
BLOG PROMPT
Blogs should be related to what you're learning in the MILI program. They should be a reflection or examination of topics or tools presented for the month. For instance:
1) Write a post about what you think about RSS feeds, what you think about information and how it's arranged on the internet, how you think RSS feeds could help you or how they could help your students (older students), etc.
2) If you choose to use a tool other than Flipboard, write about that tool and why you chose it, how it differs from Flipboard, its strengths and weaknesses.
